DELHI · STOP I
The city that was built seven times
We begin not at India Gate but at the older cities beneath it - Mehrauli, Nizamuddin, Lodi. We walk Shahjahanabad's lanes with an architectural historian. We visit a perfumer whose family has been in Chandni Chowk since the Mughal court brought them from Persia.

AGRA · STOP II
Beyond the Taj
Yes, we see the Taj Mahal - at dawn, with a cultural historian, before the crowds arrive. But Agra is also the city of the pietra dura inlay workshops, the Mughal kitchen traditions, and the Agra Fort where Shah Jahan spent his final years looking at his own creation.

The Pink City as a cultural act
Jaipur was not built by accident - it was planned in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II as a grid city informed by the Shilpa Shastra. We explore the Walled City as urban design, visit working block-print workshops in the lanes behind Johari Bazaar, and have a private dinner in a family haveli.

Tijara Fort is where Mughal North India gives way to Rajputana. One night in this restored 19th-century fort lets the journey breathe - and frames the shift in architecture, palette, and sensibility that Jaipur will complete.
